Yes, it sucks that trolling happens.

No one should have to experience bullying, especially during their important childhood development stages. I know too well how much of an impact bullying can have on who you are.

I seem to have been lucky in that I haven’t really experienced trolling that much online, but then women do seem to experience that form of bullying more than men. Again, this sucks that this even happens

I have also experienced trolls when I first started blogging many years ago and on Twitter during the furst 2 years Covid started. But my experience of trolls was not to the extent that artists like this group will have experienced. But it would give me extra anxiety I didn’t need at the time, every time I went to log on Twitter.

I would argue they know exactly the harm they’re causing and the only reason they don’t say it to people’s faces is because they’re cowards

Indeed. My mum didn’t care at the time and just tells me to get over it, like I can just magically remove the psychological scars from my mind

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been through it too. It’s honestly hell – it takes away your sense of self worth and identity. I don’t think people understand how deeply it still affects us as adults, to have been through that during those crucial years where we’re growing into our adult minds and lives.
